10-11 regular players for 7v7 w/ 3 bench should almost allow for 8vs8.

Honestly mark, its a great suggestion but how do we do that? How does someone like palm who stepped up to capt get.. say er and champ... then albert gets devil and who ever.. how can we as staff force that to happen?

There really is no perfect solution. Our ratings are skewed, some of the 225 are very flaky.. so its like writing off your top pick.

The makeup of squads that have been created thus far has been pretty even, and should be competitive. The issue is that we do not have enough players willing to captain a squad, particularly those that can draw in top rated players.

A bench idea is interesting, but would require more thought. Allowing 300-400 salary on your bench, requiring a minimum of 10-11 players on your active roster at all times, with your active salary cap always under 1200? Would need more work put into it, and may not solve much of anything.

Either way, those top players need a captain to step up (or those top players to step up and captain) because there is enough interest and competition to create 6 squads where no one will be able to safely say, "Squad A and Squad B will be in the champs."

The top players can't play without stacked squads, but we already knew that.

That is the main problem I seen looking over this from the shadows Distrikt.

How can you justify having people like Champ and ER rated the same as people like e and DeviL? Sure they are all great players but the first two are really active and contribute to the squad the whole season and the latter are hardly online... Why would someone spend 225 of their salary on someone who is a hit or miss if they will show? A smart captain would look over the player list and think about their activity before their cost.

the issue we ran into when rating is.. when say someone like em4 or devil or easoe do show up, they can easily shift the match. they are worth that 225 if they even show for just play offs and a few matches to make playoffs. perfect example was em4 last season dragging bb to victories posting stupid 11-3 and 14-1. how can you rate him lower yet make it fair? activity is very hard to judge but we can all agree on the value those guys can bring to a match.

From what I see I'd say snakes has the best lineup in terms of cost/activity level. Two good medics and a good depth of marines. So I'd say Apollo has done the best job so far.

Beer Me is just full of Marines with two inactive/not very good medics. Same problem Jeff & Mecca had with LTDN and it will end the same way this season if they don't get better medics.
