That final night king battle was a fast as Harry Potter against voldermort. The rest of the fights were cool.

how do you know, we never saw the nk fight in 1 on 1 combat aside from killing theon who wasn't exactly known for being a top notch warrior - maybe have a skilled warrior fight him like idk, jorah, to show off his abilities, except nah, dany's too busy staring @ jon's ass (apparently this makes her go full retard) while her dragon gets stabbed so jorah's gotta use the teleportation jutsu to go over there and be her meat shield. Too bad there weren't any other skilled fighters in the general area - no brienne, jamie, clegane, grey worm, thormund, jon, none.

Why were the catapults/trebuchets in front of their infantry?

Right!?
Calvary should've been used to flank. The fire trench should've been further out and in front of the armies.
Worst siege defense ever.

too much logic in this
if they killed all the wights before they could even engage the ground troops than the nk couldn't dramatically resurrect additional soldiers and none of the main characters would have been under any major threat

The Nk got escorted by equally badass white walkers, nobody would get the opportunity to fight him. Please.

You mean like one of the Whitewalkers Jon beat in 1 on 1 combat???????? Pretty sure Jon's the weakest fighter in my list - all of the aforementioned could have fought whitewalkers and won. Oh no, not the escort!

Except it was 12 WW the NK and 300,000+ wights. Not like they can get a 1v1 with the NK. Jon got the 1v1 in much more favorable numbers + the WW was out in the battle field with the wights.
Was definltey some plot holes + dany being an idiot though

The only reason Jon beat him, is because he didn't realize he had a valyrian steel blade and it caught him off guard. Escort op with that threat awareness.

You guys are reaching here to cover the bad writing.
We have NO proof that the NK is some unkillable god in combat. We never saw it. We don't have a history suggesting it. The only history of WW vs Human in combat is the one I mentioned and human won, odds or not. Show us he's too strong to fight in 1 on 1 combat by having him fight and defeat/kill one of the lauded warriors of the seven kingdoms and then MAYBE a stealth kill makes sense.
"12 WW, NK, 300,000 wights" / "threat awareness" - then we just get back to the whole Arya teleportation jutsu issue. Arya trained to be a faceless one for a season but didn't even finish the training. Barely got into it if we're being honest, but you know, still teleportation tier in stealth.
The writers copped out and catered to the fan boys no matter how much logic was defied / history left unexplained. End of.

All I know is I wanted to see the White Walkers actually fight. Maybe one of them could have been bearing down on Dany and Jorah intervenes but loses Heartsbane. He then tries to fight the WW. He loses. Then Arya uses teleportation jutsu to save Dany.
I ono.
I'm not trying to hate. But the episode just left me mostly unsatisfied. NK/WW seemed weak there at the end. They didn't really pay off.

The NK can see almost every next move. He'd destroy any fighter 1v1 sword v sword. But he's also a bit arrogant like the smirk after Dany tried to burn him with dragonfire. The same arrogance was had when he had arya by the neck (who he plucked out of mid air from behind).
Still don't think teleportation. the more likely story is faceless man much like how she killed frey.

"The NK can see almost every next move." - This assumption is based on what? There was no evidence of this shown at any point.
They built up these guys since Scene 1 of the first episode and for a long while ran with the whole "Winter is Coming" thing as a primary slogan for the show. Winter came and was a light dusting. They didn't know how to handle the massive build-up so they went with the easy solution of making the fan favorite character kill what should have been the ultimate villain of the show without anyone ever actually having to fight him OR any of his generals, even though it didn't make ANY sense with the rest of the storyline pertaining to bran/ww/nk.
(I don't think it's teleportation either, but that's the meme since we don't know and they elected not to show us for some reason.)

He saw Bran when he was greenseeing, knew where bran would be, hit the ice pole on viserion from 100s of yards out, knew exactly what theon would do, turned around when jon was following him, and caught arya out of the sky - i'd say he has a bit of premonition
