I saw that but I haven't gone back and watched that scene to see if I thought Jon was yelling GO

It does sound a little like he is yelling “go” actually. He also doesn’t seem shocked when the dragon and company start dropping dead.
But I don’t really recognize any tells that he sees Arya or anything.

Think it's a reach. We'll find out in a few days.

During the scene it looks like Jon is distracting the dragon, rather than trying to fight it. That part where he runs out then dives back into cover, is a prime example.
I remember it looking so strange and awkward, probably because i didn't realize what he was doing.

Jon was never going to fight the dragon. His only concern was getting to Bran. It seemed to me that Jon was attempting to get past the dragon, but wasn't able. He may have seen Arya and realized that she could sneak through. If true, this wasn't communicated to the viewer to preserve the surprise at the end. But by not communicating it to the viewer (if that was what happened), it really cheapens the kill.

jordan if we get no more backstory or info pertaining to these other theories you're posting are you still going to defend it as a good episode (from a storyline perspective) - no explanation on how arya got there (or flew through the air like batman), no "hodor" surprise for the nk, no explanation for why brann went afk for 78/80 minutes - i fully expect them to just burn the bodies, move on to cersei and say that's it, but i hope i'm wrong @_@.

Naw I won't defend it if they explain nothing
It will still be better than any other show just not full potential

All this anime talk got me thinking Full Metal Alchemist.
GRRM over here working on Brotherhood, meanwhile HBO gives us the first FMA anime. I enjoyed the first version of FMA that got released, but damn Brotherhood was definitely a lot better.
I'm really curious if Arya actually does kill the Night King in the books. It'll be awkward if she doesn't now.

"The Night King got Snoke'd"
Oh man... the parallels between The Long Night and The Last Jedi are so obvious now that I've heard them.
The ironic thing is D&D get to make a Star Wars trilogy in the coming years.
G
They can't be done with the nightking story otherwise they have taken the most emotional moment of the entire series (The Hodor revelation) and made it worth nothing.
And I don't think Jon or Dany end up on the throne for one they have a real Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette vibe. Jon can't make a definitive decision on anything and Dany has already proven she has that Targaryen quality of unjust cruelty and making short sighted decision IE freeing all the slaves. My money is on Sansa and Tyrion ending up on the throne together. For one it heals all the old factional wounds and both of them are eminently more qualified than either Jon or Dany.
